Welcome to the State Tournament site for Michigan Science Olympiad
Michigan State University has proudly hosted the Michigan Science Olympiad State Tournament for 19 consecutive years and will celebrate its 20th Tournament in 2010. Over these past years, thousands of students have experienced a high level of competition on the campus of the nation’s premier land grant institution. The State Tournament for the 2009-2010 academic year will be held on Saturday, May 1.
Coaches Workshop
The Michigan statewide coaches workshop will be held on Saturday, December 5, 2009. The deadline for registration is November 18, 2009. The presentations are being developed, and a schedule of the events will be posted on-line. Registration confirmation will be sent and will include a letter and map. On –site registration is available, however, we are unable to guarantee a lunch or materials packet as supplies will be limited based on pre-registration. Whenever possible, event presentations will be made by experienced supervisors from the state or regional level. This event is for coaches and assistant coaches; please don’t bring students. We look forward to seeing you and expect this workshop to assist all who participate, especially new coaches, in preparing team’s for competition.
